"Empowering diverse talents through innovative design, collaborative leadership, and equal opportunities to excel in robotics and beyond."
The Trojan Robotics (FRC Team 2264) is a Wayzata Public School ISD 284 robotics team from Plymouth, Minnesota. We compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition — a global program that combines the excitement of competitive sports with the rigors of science and technology.
For over 19 years, we have provided students with hands-on engineering experience, professional mentorship, and life-long skills in design, programming, marketing, and leadership.
Learn About FIRST →Race, gender, and personality are vital parts of our plan. Our team: 54% Indian, 40% Women, 33% White, 13% East Asian, 3% LGBTQIA. Every background is welcome and celebrated.
We combine competitive sports with science and technology. Risk-based design, material efficiency, and critical thinking drive every decision — from game strategy to robot architecture.
We have fun while designing and building together. From metal welding to software coding, fundraising to swag design — everyone has a job, and owns it. Everyone leads something.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global robotics community that prepares young people for the future. FRC — the FIRST Robotics Competition — challenges students to design, build, and program industrial-grade robots in just six weeks.
Teams compete in regional events, with top teams advancing to the annual World Championship. We have qualified for and competed at the World Championship in Houston.
