February Build Season Update

February Build Season Update

February has been a month of intense learning and growth for Trojan Robotics! As is common during build season, we’ve experienced our fair share of trial and error. While we’ve had many successes, we’ve also encountered a few engineering challenges that we’ve learned a lot from. We had to redesign and refabricate after miscalculating cutting dimensions, underestimating bumper interference, and assuming the wrong drive gear belt specifications.

On the programming side, the team has been hard at work, writing new code to enable autonomous positioning using April tags and implementing a turbo-driving mode. Meanwhile, our marketing team is full steam ahead, creating some awesome team swag, including t-shirts! We’re making great progress and are excited to see all of our hard work come together.
